
The Balkans biggest door factory's first sod was turned
today by the deputy mayor of the municipality Mr. Yordan Yordanov and dipl.
eng. Ivan Akov - president of the investor company Solid 55 Ltd. The
manufacturing facility will be build near the city of
Near 30 million leva will be invested in the new factory, which is expected to
start functioning in an year. This investment is only Bulgarian and the project
is realized without foreign partnership or cooperation.
The Elin Pelin factory will, stage by stage, provide for 100 working places.
Future employees will go through many internal trainings and specialized
qualification raise courses.

"The production area is 14 500 sq. meters, which gives us the confidence
that the future realization of such a successful investment will take us to the
leadership position in door production not only at home but also among the
Balkan region countries" were the words of Solid 55's president dipl. eng.
Akov.
The factory will be equipped with newest and most advanced technological
developments, which will allow production capacity to increase to 200-250 doors
per day with 30-days working cycle.
Today's ceremony was attended by Mr. Emil Mishov - the City Council chairman,
bank branches managers, state departments administrators and many citizens.

products on the local and foreign markets for 18 years already.

The electronic lock is a product of own development and manufacture. Solid 55
has patented all of its products. What is specific for such doors is the double
protection against burglary they offer - a mechanical lock combined with an
invisible IPS system (Intelligent Protection System).
